In the Republic of Macedonia, accidents at work occur almost every third day. The grim statistics of work-related accidents with fatal outcome and permanent disability have been echoing for years. With the adoption of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health, every legal entity is obliged to implement work safety measures in order to decrease these grim statistics of accidents at work.
