The Society for Geotechnics of Macedonia, this year for the fourth time, from 25th to 28th June in Struga, gathered together the researchers, scientists, engineers and contractors in the region and has successfully implemented its intention to merge the engineering theory and practice. The rich program of suggested topics resulted with interesting papers and discussions that were presented during the two days in six working sessions. On the symposium were held nine invited lectures by renowned authors and teachers coming out of our state.
The company GEING Krebs und Kiefer as gold sponsor and as a leader in geotechnical engineering in Macedonia, contributed with two articles with the topics "Aspects of implementation of the systems from reinforced soil" and "Rehabilitation of retaining wall on the highway A3, section Trojaci - Farish" (A. Strasheski, H. Dimitrieski, K. Bogeva, A. Veta, V. Nastova and L.Gjorgievska) and were presented within the second working session.
